Thee Dress

So this is what I wore to the FIDM Fashion Show I recently went to. The dress is self-made. I didnt know what I wanted to wear or create. So I just bought this fabric and started sewing on my sewing machine and took it from there. And tadaa! This is what I ended up with. Its rather simple but I love it.

Last day of Spring Break

Wearing hand me down denim jacket, basic leggings, F21 boots, and thrifted bag.

Today was officially the last day of my spring break(sigh). No more waking up late, and just lounging around the house all day watching TV and baking cookies. Oh well, all things have an end. Since the weather has been pretty cold this whole week, it didnt feel like spring at all. Talk about non stop rain and wind all week. So for today, I just wore something that is easily thrown on. I love how the denim jacket Im wearing is long enough that I can wear it as a dress.
Anyways, this is what I wore today shopping with my mom, my sister, and my brother. I didn't buy anything, just looking at the prices on clothing is pretty overwhelming. I don't really like to spend on things that are first of all not worth the price been and things I'm not really sure about. I really would rather shop in thrift stores and find treasures. But I haven't gone thrifting in such a long time, I miss it and I soon hope to go. Therefore for now, I just have to wait. Hope your all well. And Happy Friday:).

Ps: My hair is shorter, I recently cut it. Its still long but a bit shorter. What do you think?

FIDM Fashion Show

I talked about my school here on the blog about me being the vice president of my school's FIDM Fashion Club. FIDM stands for Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising for the ones who dont know. Well, on March 17 FIDM fashion club members at my school got the chance to see the fashion show designed by fashion designer students at FIDM. All the collections were beyond amazing and I love every piece of the collections designed by the students. I had so much fun with my friends and cant wait to go see the show again next year. I hope to someday attend FIDM after graduating highschool and I dream to someday show a collection of mine for the Debut Fashion Show.

This is my sister and I. I wasnt able to get a picture of my self and my outfit since it was hectic there and people were just everywhere and I was too busy taking pictures of everybody else. So I will just post my outfiit on another post. BTW, the dress Im wearing was selfmade.

Straw hats

Wearing a hand me down shirt from mom, H&M jeans, Thrifted shoes and belt, Guess watch, faux leather vest from Target, and straw hat from the Philippines.

These earrings where from a garage sale that this old lady sold me for $.50. At first I wasn't really sure if I likes them but when she came over and talked to me, she was so sweet and nice that I couldn't resist and bought it. Now, I'm liking them more than ever.
I don't normally buy second hand jewelries because sometimes you never know where they came from and who wore them. So when I actually do buy second hand jewelry, what I do to clean it is rub it with alcohol.

Spring is near and Im in mixed emotions. Im not really a big warm weather person since I hate the heat, but I'll get over it somehow. Since the weather change is here, I was really excited to wear the straw hat. Im really into the big floppy hats and their something I will be wearing alot this spring/summer. Tomorrow, Im going to visit this place called San Juan Capistrano church. I went there a year ago and it was beautiful. I will be posting pictures as soon as I can. Have a great weekend! :)

Santa Monica Cruisin

Hey guys! How are you? I hope your all well. Here's some photos of what I did over the weekend (saturday). I went to Santa Monica on a beautiful sunny day, and spent my time walking around the shopping area and had some time at the beach. For anyone who havent been there must go. The place wont disappoint you guys, live music, beautiful people, great shops, and above all the beach thats a street away. I definitely will go back there maybe over the summer with some girlfriends. Hope you guys enjoy! :)

Purple and Fringe

I love how the sun got on my face.
Wore this to school today. "Your all Indian today." That is what my friend told me about my outfit. Haha, then as always, every time I wear these boots, I always get the Indian word from them. They call it Indian boots. I suppose its a compliment since they say its cute. I was asked what size shoe I wear because my friends wanted to borrow them. Too bad Im an 8 and their a 7 or smaller.
