Goodbye and Hello!

I spent a lovely afternoon with my friend today. We talked alot about looking for a part time job which is almost impossible today because of all the recession and businesses running slow. But, were not giving up, just gotta keep going!

So, this is what I wore today, borrowed my sisters vest and just buttoned it all the way up to wear as a top and put on these shorts that again used to be my moms that I just cut off. I probably only have about 4 pair of shorts that arent DIY's!

I went out and about today with this outfit. I borrowed these high waisted shorts from my sister that is familiar with my black ones from my last post. Im loving the highwaisted shorts, its so easy to wear. This is deffinitely a breathe of fresh air from all the jean shorts that we see alot during the summer.

A knot to remember.

I have been wearing this white knitted sweater way too much. Its light, perfect for the summer weather. Ive been into tying almost every top I wear because it definitely makes an outfit look so easy and effortless. If I'm not tucking a shirt in, I'm definitely tying a knot.  (:

Yesterday I recieved my first mail from OASAP.com. These earrings are awesome, better than I expected it to be. Its great because its lightweight, it wont dangle my ears all the way down. I cant wait to wear this more with a tshirt, denimshorts and these earrings will deffinitely make the look.(:

I spent a beautiful sunny day at the beach. The beach was packed with so many people, it was fun people watching, that sounds creepy but it was nice seeing the excitement and all the smiles everyone had. The weather was great, such a lovely day. I wore this maxi skirt that Ive worn twice this week, its just so fun and easy to wear. Im a bit obsessed.(:

Patience

I had such a long day today. So long it seems like forever but its a practice for being patient since Im not such a patient person. I wore a pretty dark color combination today. I try to stay away from dark colors for the summer since its all I wear during the colder seasons, but I couldnt resist and ended up with this outfit. I was set with using one of my black bags but gave in and just used this woven bag that I got from the thrift store.  I love this bag but I barely use it since its not big enough for my camera. I deffinitely need to go bag shopping. (:

DAY 3, 2, 1

 Got these beauties from the California Market Center for 10 dollars! Walking 8 floors of stairs was so worth it!

 Im so glad I met Marika, shes so fun and full of energy! Shes so cute(: Shes from North Carolina.

 Here's my partners, Anna from Utah and the gorgeous Jenna from Texas. And this is the dress that we came up with from draping class.

 So here it is! My 3 days of Fashion at FIDM Los Angeles. It was such an experience. I got to meet so many girls from different countries and states, if I can do it all over again I would deffinitely do it in a heart beat. It was amazing, learned so many things about the fashion industry and meet so many girls with the same passion as me. This is deffinitely the best thing I did so far this summer(:
